Electrolysis

Electrolysis treatment is a form of electrical epilation where a sterile, single-use probe is inserted into the hair follicle and a minimal amount of current is delivered to the root of the follicle to destroy the dermal papilla and the lower half of the follicle. This process is done by either using heat (thermolysis), chemical decomposition (galvanic), or a combination of both (blend). All three modalities are effective, however, I practice the blend technique. Electrolysis is the only FDA approved permanent hair removal method.

The State of Washington does not regulate the field of Electrology. I maintain my license through the State of California to practice in Washington.
